Customer Satisfaction
At The Indoor Outdoor Store, we stand behind the quality of our products and we
make things right if you are not satisfied with your purchase. Our shipments are
carefully inspected before leaving the warehouse, but in the event you are not
satisfied with your purchase simply follow the instructions below.
Returns and Exchanges
You may return any item purchased on our Web site, for any reason within 15 days
of receipt. Pending inspection, a refund will be issued to you for the
value of the item including taxes less 15% restocking fee. Shipping fees, being the amount that The
Indoor Outdoor Store pays to ship the item to you, are non-refundable.
Returns must be requested within 15 days of receipt of merchandise. All
merchandise must be returned in original factory condition, including all
packaging materials, inserts, hardware packs and manuals. Open box items will be
inspected and are subject to a restocking fee if items are found damaged or
parts missing. All orders cancelled after shipment has been made will be
subject to round trip shipping and handling charges.
Important: Please note - shipping fees are currently built into the price and
are non-refundable. They will therefore be deducted from the refund
amount.
Furniture Collection Return/Exchange Policy (please read
carefully)
At The Indoor Outdoor Store, we take great pride in the quality and
craftsmanship of the furniture we sell. Attention to detail in design, materials,
and construction is always our priority. Sometimes, however, merchandise
may be damaged while in route to its final destination. In the event that
damage occurs in transit, or if you discover any defect in manufacture, please
contact us via email at
contact_us@indooroutdoorstore.com within 7 days, and
RETAIN ALL ORIGINAL PACKAGING. We will either pay for the item to be
repaired, or pay for it to be returned to us and will ship you a replacement at
no extra cost. Upon return, your merchandise will be inspected.
If you do NOT wish to have the item replaced and instead wish for a refund and
in other certain circumstances, a usage or restocking fee will apply. We
take the hassle off of your hands and will
handle all correspondence with UPS and arrange for product replacement and
return shipping through UPS.
If original packaging is discarded before UPS inspects it, or damaged items are
shipped back to the factory by the customer without authorization by us, the
replacement claim that The Indoor Outdoor Store made with UPS will be null and
void. This will result in a denied damage claim with UPS and replacement or
refund will not be issued.
In order to process the Exchange or Refund in a timely fashion
please follow the steps set out below.
- Send an email to the above email address explaining the number of items
being returned, whether they are being returned for refund or replacement and
the reason for the return.
- Wait to receive correspondence from The Indoor Outdoor Store via email
giving further instructions and a return invoice to be filled out and attached
to the outside of each package.
- The return invoice has a pre-printed remission value for the returning
shipment of $10.00. Please Note: If this value is altered or changed or a
different value is given on the shipping waybill, un-necessary duty charges
will be applied which will be deducted from any refund owed.
- The Return Invoice must be accompanied with all returns and
exchanges.
- Repackage (if needed) and ship (pre-paid) back to the address supplied
by The Indoor Outdoor Store, through the shipping method of your choice.
- NOTE: If returning for an exchange we will ship the replacement at no
charge.
Coverage for return shipping including any brokerage on returned items is the
responsibility of the shipper. A product that has been shipped back to us in
used/damaged condition and/or with outstanding charges owing will be refused or
will be subject to a restocking fee and thus will not be reimbursed to you.
